Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is the highest decision-making body of Banco Central Timor-Leste. The Board provides strategic direction and oversight to ensure the achievement of BCTL's mandate in accordance with the law.

About the Board

The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of BCTL, approving key policies, and ensuring that the Bank is managed effectively and in the public interest. The Board operates independently and collectively, with each member bringing knowledge, experience, and integrity to support sound decision-making.
