The Banking and Payments Authority of Timor-Leste conducts policies aiming to achieve and maintain domestic price stability. Subordinated to this primary objective the BPA fosters the liquidity and solvency of a stable market-based banking and financial system, executes the foreign exchange policy of Timor-Leste, promotes a safe, sound, and efficient payment system, and supports the general economic policies of the government of Timor-Leste.
